Front and Rear Crosses. You know you need them. You know you want to do them better! These handling maneuvers are the building blocks for fast, efficient, and smooth handling. This focus of this class is for you if you are familiar with them but – You can’t always put them in the right place – Your dog sometimes spins the wrong way or pulls off the jump – You’re not comfortable performing one or more of them – You ever say “I can’t” when you know you could. Learn where to place them, choose between them, understand, and use your cues for Pin Wheels, Serpentines, and more.
Prerequisites: Completion of Foundations 1 or as evaluated by instructor at first class. Dogs must be a minimum of 10 months old, have recall and start line procedure. For safety reasons dogs will be crated during indoor instruction, (crates are available onsite) and on leash unless otherwise working in the ring.
Notes: Make-up date, if needed, may be scheduled on weekends.
