This agility class provides training on contact obstacles including 6 weave poles. Emphasis on proofing skills and course sequences with a focus on distance handling drills enabling the handler to direct their dogs through actual courses at the Intro/Novice level.
Instructor will advise on skill achievement to advance to next level. This class may be taken as often as needed with instructor approval. Applications are accepted with email confirmation on a first-come, first-served basis. Class will not be held for less than 4 teams, maximum of 6 teams. Dogs must be a minimum of 10 months old to participate.
Prerequisites: Completion of Foundations 2 and winter weaving or above agility classes or equivalent training with instructor approval; must have start line procedure and recall skills. Skill level will be evaluated at the first class by instructor for correct placement. Dogs should be in control, on leash while other dogs are training in the fenced ring.
