Loading Events

This class is for teams that are currently working on odor. It will focus on handler observational skills and leash/handling skills, to effectively work as a team. We will use a variety of challenges such as multiple hides, converging odor and inaccessible hides. Use of distractions will be incorporated.
This will be a travel class with class being held at various locations in the Roanoke or Salem area.

Prerequisites: Dogs must have qualified for or trialing at the NW 2/Advanced level OR, if not trialing, have successfully completed at least two NW 1/Novice classes or one NW 2/Advanced class. Dogs must be able to stay quiet in a crate and/or vehicle in between their turns. Dogs should be trained on odor or have taken Introduction to Nosework and Introduction to Odor classes

Notes: Maximum of 6 students. A minimum of 4 students needed for class to continue.
