This agility class will introduce and train various methods to practice independent weaving skills and contact performance on the dog walk, A frame (teeter by request only). Class will not be held for less than 4 teams, maximum 8 teams.
Prerequisite: Completion of Foundation 1, Beginner obedience II or as evaluated by instructor at first class. Class lessons will be adjusted to accommodate the teams’ abilities. Additional experience using targets, hoops, barrels is recommended. Dogs must be 12 months old, have recall and start line procedure. For safety reasons, dogs will be crated during indoor instruction or on leash unless working in the outdoor ring. Vaccination records must be submitted by the first class.
NOTE: This agility class will be held outdoors at the Mudlick field. If weather (heavy rain, high wind or extreme cold) doesn’t allow for class outdoor, session may be moved indoors to the SCCTC building.
