In this more advanced beginner class, dog/handler teams will cement the learning and extend the skills from Beginner Level 1. Skills will include attention, sit/down stay, stand, heel position, heeling/controlled walking, fronts and finishes to the right and left, recall/come and preparation for Canine Good Citizen class. Mild distractions may be added. Beginner 2 is generally the prerequisite for CGC, Pet Therapy, Rally, and Agility classes.
Requirements: Beginner Level 1 or equivalent obedience class.
Notes: Maximum of 8 students. THIS IS A 6 WEEK CLASS. These classes are not for dogs who have severe behavioral problems.
