This agility class will introduce the various methods to train weaving skills. The focus of this class will be learning weave skills utilizing 2×2 and channel weave techniques, improving weave performance along with basic handling drills. Class will not be held for less than 4 teams, maximum of 8 teams.
Prerequisite: Completion of Foundation 1, Beginner Obedience II or as evaluated by instructor at first class. Class lessons will be adjusted to accommodate the teams’ abilities. Additional experience using targets, hoops and barrels is recommended. Dogs must be a minimum of 12 months old, have recall and start line procedure. For safety reasons dogs will be crated during indoor instruction, (crates are available onsite), on leash unless otherwise working in the ring. Vaccination records must be submitted by the first class.
Notes: Make-up date, if needed, may be scheduled on weekends.
